Refund policy
MoxiMind Press is an independent publishing imprint operated by PixelMantis Media.
Effective date: 6 November 2026. Last updated: 6 November 2026.
1. Overview
At MoxiMind Press, we want every customer to feel confident when purchasing our digital publications.
We take care to provide accurate product descriptions, clear purchasing information and high-quality digital content.
This Refund Policy explains your rights, how refund requests are handled and what to do if you experience a problem with your purchase.
Our products are primarily digital publications, including e-books, downloadable guides and educational materials delivered electronically.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights under applicable law.
2. Digital products and delivery
Our digital products are generally delivered electronically following successful payment.
Depending on the product, delivery may take place through:
- A secure download link.
- An email containing download instructions.
- A digital delivery platform.
- Access to a designated download area.
No physical product will be shipped unless explicitly stated in the product description.
Customers should ensure that their devices support the advertised file formats before purchasing.
3. Your right to cancel
3.1 Customers in Ireland and the European Union
Under the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 (S.I. No. 484 of 2013), which implement the EU Consumer Rights Directive in Ireland, consumers generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from qualifying distance contracts.
However, specific exceptions apply to digital content supplied without a tangible medium.
Where the applicable legal requirements have been satisfied, the right to withdraw may be lost once the supply of digital content begins.
This generally requires:
- Your prior express consent to begin supplying the digital content during the withdrawal period.
- Your express acknowledgement that you will lose your right of withdrawal when supply begins.
- Confirmation of the contract and the required consent and acknowledgement, as provided for by applicable law.
Purchasing or downloading a digital product does not, by itself, automatically remove your statutory right to withdraw.
Where these legal conditions have not been satisfied, your statutory cancellation rights remain applicable.
3.2 Customers in the United Kingdom
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers generally have a 14-day cancellation period for qualifying distance contracts.
For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, this right may be lost once supply begins, provided the legally required express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation requirements have been met.
Where these requirements have not been satisfied, applicable statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected.
3.3 Customers in other countries
Customers outside Ireland, the European Union and the United Kingdom may have additional or different cancellation and refund rights under their local consumer protection laws.
We respect applicable mandatory consumer protection requirements.
4. Refund eligibility
We understand that problems can occasionally occur with digital purchases.
Refund requests may be considered in circumstances including:
4.1 Technical problems
You may request assistance or a refund if:
- The purchased file is corrupted or cannot be opened.
- The download link does not work.
- The product cannot be accessed due to a technical issue within our control.
- The delivered product is materially different from its advertised description.
Where appropriate, we may first offer a replacement file, a new download link or technical assistance.
These remedies do not limit any statutory right to a refund or other remedy.
4.2 Duplicate purchases
If you accidentally purchase the same product more than once, please contact us.
We will review the transactions and assist with a refund where appropriate.
4.3 Incorrect or missing products
If you receive the wrong product or do not receive access to your purchase, please contact our support team.
We will investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.
4.4 Change of mind
If you change your mind after purchasing a digital product, you may contact us to request a refund.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, it will be honoured.
Where that right has been validly lost or does not apply, discretionary refunds may still be considered on a case-by-case basis.
We aim to treat all requests fairly and reasonably.
5. How to request a refund
To request assistance or a refund, please contact: support@moximindpress.com
Please include:
- Your full name.
- The email address used during checkout.
- The name of the purchased product.
- Your order number or payment reference, if available.
- A brief explanation of your request.
Please do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive financial information by email.
We aim to acknowledge support enquiries within two business days.
6. Payment processing and refunds
Depending on where you buy, payment for your purchase is processed either by Hotmart or by Stripe Managed Payments, each of which acts as the Merchant of Record for the purchases it processes. The provider shown at checkout and on your receipt is the one that processed your payment.
Refund requests may be reviewed and processed by that provider in accordance with its applicable policies, procedures and legal obligations.
Where supported, customers may also be able to request a refund directly through the payment provider.
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method.
The time required for funds to appear in your account depends on the payment method, payment provider and financial institution.
Where applicable law specifies a refund deadline, that deadline will apply.
7. Download access following a refund
When a purchase is refunded, access to the associated digital product may be revoked.
This may include:
- Deactivation of download links.
- Removal of access to digital delivery services.
- Termination of the licence to use the refunded product, where legally permitted.
Customers must not continue distributing, reproducing or commercially exploiting refunded content without authorisation.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.
8. Product information and compatibility
We aim to provide accurate information about each publication, including its content, format and intended purpose.
Our products may be supplied in PDF, EPUB or other digital formats, as specified on the relevant product page.
Customers are encouraged to review the product description and technical requirements before purchasing.
If a product does not conform to the contract or applicable legal requirements, you may be entitled to statutory remedies regardless of any compatibility guidance.
9. Educational and informational content
Our publications are intended primarily for educational, informational and general reference purposes.
Individual experiences and outcomes may vary.
Dissatisfaction with a particular interpretation, recommendation or expected outcome does not automatically establish an entitlement to a discretionary refund.
However, this does not affect your rights where digital content is faulty, misdescribed, non-conforming or otherwise subject to statutory remedies.
10. Consumer rights
This policy operates alongside applicable consumer protection legislation, including, where relevant:
- Ireland: the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 (S.I. No. 484 of 2013), which set the 14-day right to cancel, and the Consumer Rights Act 2022, which sets the rules on conformity of digital content and your remedies if it is faulty or misdescribed.
- The European Union Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), as amended.
- United Kingdom: the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which set the 14-day right to cancel, and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which covers faulty or misdescribed digital content.
- Other mandatory consumer protection laws applicable to your purchase.
If any provision of this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer protection legislation, the applicable legal requirement will prevail.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in our products, payment processing arrangements, business practices or legal requirements.
The latest version will be published on our website with an updated revision date.
Changes will not retrospectively remove statutory rights or contractual rights that apply to purchases already made.
